May 2025 - The Tourists in Marseille

"Marseille is the Mediterranean that managed to become a city."

In May, The Tourists set down their suitcases in the Phocaean city. Where warm rock meets turquoise sea, our prints find an ideal playground. Swimming, sunshine, and cheerful textiles are on the program.

Marseille is the oldest continuously inhabited city in France, founded over 2,600 years ago by Greek sailors from Phocaea. Its history can be read as much in its stones as in its accents.

Our summer favorite? The beach bag with terry lining, as practical as it is stylish. Ultra-light, it goes from boat to towel without missing a beat.

And between two swims? We settle in the sun on the rocks, towel under our arms and scarf tied in our hair. A way of life to the rhythm of the sea spray.

Heading to the Old Port. Every morning, fishermen set up their stalls and sell their catch right on the quay, just as they did a century ago.

This popular tradition is part of Marseille's soul.

The summer "must-have"? Our cotton voile shirt with Iris Bayou pattern.

Ultra-light, it accompanies every escapade, from rocks to city!

Getting lost in the Panier district, we come across walls covered with mosaics, plants on balconies, cats in the sun. This is Marseille in all its poetry: popular, vibrant, Mediterranean.

The Tourists in Marseille is a sunny, lively, and inspiring stopover. Find all the products from this travel journal in our online shop!

See you next month to place our Weekend bag in a new destination!
